6m47s in freefall! A New Record!

Congratulations to Spaniards Santi, Toni and Alvaro who have made history again! This time flying for 6 minutes and 47 seconds over the Canary Islands, beating the previous record by a massive 45 seconds.

The trio were flying Phoenix-Fly Stealth wingsuits and managed an average fall rate of 45mph – impressive considering the fatigue from such a long flight.

Visit the PROYECTO ALAS (aka PROJECT WINGS) website for more news and photos of their amazing flight.
